A PLACE TO SLOW DOWN WHAT FEELS OVERWHELMING

Inner Harbor

Inner Harbor Counseling is a therapy practice in Red Bank, New Jersey, for adults and couples who feel stuck in patterns they can’t quite change, regardless of how much insight they have. This might show up as anxiety that doesn’t fully settle, relationships that feel strained or distant, or a sense that something inside you just isn’t shifting.

In therapy, we focus on what’s happening beneath what you can easily see or put into words, so you can begin to understand it and respond in a way that feels more aligned and grounded.

our approach

Therapy that helps things actually shift

In our work together, we build on the understanding you already have by going deeper into emotional patterns, physical responses, and the ways past experiences continue to shape the present.

Jennifer Manner

I’m Jennifer Manner, LPC, LCADC, a licensed therapist based in Red Bank, NJ, working with adults and couples navigating trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety, and life transitions.

I pay close attention to how people connect in relationships and how emotional patterns develop and repeat over time.

Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in experiences that don’t fully make sense or feel hard to shift. In our work, we begin to understand and work with these patterns in a more supported and meaningful way.

Therapy with me is a collaborative process. We slow things down enough to notice what’s happening internally and begin to make sense of it in a way that feels clear, manageable, and grounded.

A mind-body approach

Healing that meets the body, not just the mind

My work integrates talk therapy with Brainspotting — a neuroscience-informed approach that helps access and process experiences stored in the nervous system.

Alongside Brainspotting, I also use talk therapy to support insight, self-awareness, and healthier relational patterns over time.

"What's in the body is in the brain and what's in the brain is in the body."

— Dr. David Grand, Brainspotting

Brainspotting can help if you

  • Feel stuck in patterns you can't think your way out of

  • Have experienced trauma or chronic stress

  • Notice emotional or physical responses that feel disproportionate to your experiences

  • Have tried traditional therapy but still feel “stuck”

We move at a pace that's safe for your nervous system — gently, with space to integrate what comes up.
